Welcome To My New Blog

I have never blogged before and have spent a lot of time thinking about what my first post should be about ..... and have decided it would make sense for me to say a big Hello and Thank You for taking the time to have a look.

There are many reasons why I have decided to start a blog, but the main reason is to be able to share my experiences as we travel down the very long road of trying to get Boo properly diagnosed, and get him the help and support he requires, and to raise vital awareness about this type of disability!

(Although, I must admit I also have the selfish intention of using it to "vent" at times too.)

Things are very new to me as we have only been told over the past month or so that Boo has ASD, food phobia and significant speech, language and short term memory problems and unfortunately, we have already encountered many issues along this bumpy road of discovery and I often find things rather frustrating.

While raising awareness and sharing these experiences, I will also be blogging about the rest of my family, and our day to day (hectic) life. Our days are often filled with happiness, frustration, tantrums, laughter, tears, but most of all, lots and lots of love!

I look forward to sharing our experiences with you all, and hearing about your experiences too.
