Woohoo!

I have finally packed my hospital bag.

It's something that I have been meaning to do for weeks, and kept putting it to one side pretending that it didn't need doing, but I finally gave in today, after having a day of feeling really irritable and biting everyone's heads off.
(Not literally obviously ..... I'm not a cannibal!).

I'm blaming a surge in hormones for my grumpiness, but I must admit that I am starting to pity poor Daddy D and the kids, having to put up with my grumpy face and constant mood swings all of the time.

I decided that I should give them a bit of a break from my moods, and took myself off to my bedroom.

And there it was ..... the suitcase ...... staring right at me ..... calling out to me ...... "pack me, pack me".

Well, what choice did I have when it was being so persuasive, and with all of the beautiful little baby clothes piled up around me, needing to be sorted out.

To be honest, I found it therapeutic, and it really cheered me up.

How can you not have a smile on your face when packing a bag with the cutest little pink baby-grows, vests and mittens?

I had forgotten just how small things are for a new born baby ...... especially the nappies!
I know Little Man is only a year old, but they grow out of them so quickly that they are soon forgotten, and replaced by ones much bigger.

I'm glad I allowed myself to be bullied by the suitcase, as I am now one step closer to being ready for the arrival of our Little Princess.

The midwife is coming to see me tomorrow morning (31/3), and then I am seeing the consultant early on Monday morning (2/4) to be given a date to go in and be induced.

Suddenly I find myself starting to get very excited!
