Right ..... that's it ....... I've had enough.
I don't want to you here any more.
It's time for you to leave..

No ...... wait ....... not you!

I'm talking to the horrible rolls of flab that are currently taking up residence around my waist, and the horrible chunky, wobbly bits at the top of my thighs.

They are officially being evicted.

I have decided that the time has come to stop making excuses, and to be fit, not fat.  For a while now I have been saying that I am going to lose weight, but there has always been a convenient little reason not to worry about dieting.
"I'm pregnant ..... again"
"It's normal to be over weight when you've just had a baby"
"I've had a bad day so I deserve a treat"
"I'm too tired to cook .... let's get a takeaway" ............
The list of excuses could go on and on, but it's time to stop making them.

When it gets to the point that you can't bear to look in a mirror, and going clothes shopping fills you with dread, then it becomes obvious that you need to do something about it.
After all, no one else is going to do it for me.  I'm not going to wake up one morning to discover a miracle has happened and I'm suddenly a flab free size 12.  Am I?  *hopeful face*

I have tried many different diets and slimming clubs in the past, and have never been successful.  I always end up getting bored and finding reasons not to go to the meetings so this time I thought I'd try something different.  I have seen many of my Twitter friends talking about something called 'Thinking Slimmer' and how good it is ..... and that it really works.
I was sceptical at first, but after having a good read through the website, and reading all of the reviews I have decided to give it a try.  I got my first Slimpod a few days ago, and am looking forward to seeing what the outcome is.

As well as using my Slimpod, I have also joined some exercise classes.  I have tried going to the gym in the past and found that I have no motivation while there.  I find it boring, and decided that I need something fun that can make me giggle while helping me lose weight, so I have joined Zumba.  I go to a Zumba toning class on a Monday to help tighten up all of the post baby wobbly bits, and then I go to a fat burning class on a Thursday.  I have to admit I love going.  Not only does it give me an hour to myself with no one saying 'Mummy, mummy' every 10 seconds, but it is helping me to increase my fitness and have fun at the same time.  I have also joined Aqua Fit which I go to once a week.

I'm feeling really positive about things, and am completely determined to lose those inches and get myself slim and fit.
I'll keep you all updated with my progress.
