Hello,

Just a quick post to let you all know that I am still alive, and so are the kids ...... For now. ;0)

As most of you know, here in the UK it is the summer holidays which means the children are not at school for 6 weeks!
As much as I love my children, even the best mum in the world would find them annoying/noisy/nervous breakdown inducing, during that 6 weeks.
Mine have only been home for a week so far and are already trying my patience.

To make things a bit more interesting/nightmarish my hubby is working at the Olympics and will hardly be here for the duration of the summer holidays ....... So I'm on my own!

How on earth do you amazingly, wonderful single parents manage it??

So, my blog may be slightly abandoned over the next 6 weeks as I am busy trying to keep 5 little monkeys happy, and busy, trying to make the most of any sunshine we might be lucky enough to see.

I will try to post when I can, but I'm making no promises.
