The blogging community is constantly growing and the quality that is out there is amazing.

I love reading other peoples blogs, and the ones that I follow include many different subject matters and are written in very different ways.
This, in my opinion, is what makes these blogs so awesome.

Some have me laughing, some have me crying and others just leave me completely awestruck by the brilliant writing, and the fabulous way that they manage to communicate their thoughts and feelings across to complete strangers, just by using the written word.

I love to write, even though I don't get to do it as often as I would like, and I hope that those of you that do visit Missy. B & Family enjoy what you read, and see.

Every year there are several award ceremonies that celebrate brilliant blogs, and bloggers, and the time has come where nominations are now open for the MAD Blog Awards.




It's not for everybody and I know that there are some people out there who don't agree with asking for nominations and votes, and that's fine.
It's personal choice and I fully respect that opinion.

I love my little blog, although it is nothing compared to some of the fabulous blogs out there, and have decided that this year I will ask for nominations.  I want my blog to grow and to reach a wider audience, and I think that it is a wonderful idea to show someone how much you like their blog by nominating them for an award such as this.

There are many different categories in The MADs and I found it tough to whittle my choices down while submitting my own nominations.
The standard is so high.
I finally managed to choose my favourites and have nominated them in the appropriate categories.

If you enjoy reading blogs then I urge you to please go and nominate the ones that you enjoy the most.
The people that write them really do appreciate the support and the knowledge that some one out their likes their blog enough to think it deserves an award.
