Ok, .... so I know it's nearly the end of January and I am just a little late with my New Year wishes ...... but it's the thought that counts!

The beginning of the year has already been manic, and I have found it hard to make a positive start, but (at the end of January) I think I am almost there.  
There are some slightly stressful situations happening .... Daddy D having been off of work for the past 2 months and now facing the prospect of surgery being one of them ........ but all in all this year is looking as though it will shape up to be a good one.

I am going to starting a detox and healthier lifestyle next week with a fantastic juicer that we have been sent (which I will write more about in the very near future), and I have some very happy events to look forward to .... including my big sisters wedding!   
It's all go at the moment.  
I am loving helping her to organise her big day, and I am super excited as she has asked me to be a bridesmaid!!

Even as I am typing this I can hear my Mum sighing and telling me I can't be a bridesmaid because I am already married ....... but I refuse to go around calling myself a Maid, or Matron! ;)

It's going to be a fantastic day and I can't wait! My sister and her children have found happiness and that makes me a very happy lady. 

On top of that I also have lots of other things to look forward to, such as the Team Honk Blogger's Relay (post to follow), Britmums Live (if I can find a sponsor .... Hint Hint) and a couple of special birthdays in the family (Bubba's 1st and my Mum's 60th! Love you Mum ... hehe), just to name a few.
I have even applied for series 5 of the Great British Bake Off ... not that I expect anything to come of it.


I am determined to try and enjoy this year, so PLEASE remind me of this post when I am back to writing moany posts in a few months time, about the kids driving me crazy, being fat, etc etc.
