We are home!

After a week of watching Boo suffer, he is finally on the mend.
Best of all ..... he is managing to take his antibiotics. Which is amazing.
It is difficult for him, and he becomes anxious and upset when he has to take them ..... but he does it!

I am so incredibly proud of him.

Taking medicine may not seem like much of an achievement to most people, but for a child with an acute food phobia it is a MASSIVE step.

He is still fairly poorly, but thanks to the lovely nurses and ENT doctors at the hospital, he is well on his way to recovery.
Most of the puss has now gone from his throat, but he still has significant swelling, especially on the right side.
Because of this he will require another week of antibiotics and regular pain relief, but he is starting to eat and, more importantly drink, which is a massive improvement on where we were at 3 days ago.

Thank you to everyone that has sent 'Get Well Soon' messages and words of support.
It really does mean a lot to us.

We are thrilled to be home and I could not get enough kisses and cuddles from my gorgeous babies when I got back. 3 days doesn't seem like long, but I missed them immensely.
Boo is settled in for the night, so now it is time to catch up with Daddy D and chill out for a while.

Goodnight lovelies.
