I am taking part in the Team Honk Bloggers Relay.
The relay is being undertaken by more than 200 bloggers and started at Land's End on 12th January and will finish at John O'Groats on the 23rd March 2014.
I am part of Team MK and the baton will pass through Milton Keynes tomorrow (Monday 3rd February), making it's way to Hemel Hempstead.

The Milton Keynes leg of the relay will include concrete cows, elephants (yes, real ones!), and a unicorn. (Yes ... a Unicorn! .... Obviously NOT a horse in fancy dress!)
Our lovely team members are Sally (Baby Baby), Claire (Ministry of Mum), Hayley (Shutterflies), Gemma (Toddler Kitchen), and Me, of course.  We will be walking, running and riding with the baton to get it to the next team.

Why all the effort I hear you ask ...... for Sport Relief of course!

As one of the biggest fundraising events, Sport Relief brings the entire nation together to get active raise cash and change lives. The money raised is spent by Comic Relief to help transform the lives of some of the poorest and most disadvantaged people both at home in the UK and across the world.

Team Honk are aiming to raise £20,000 for Sport Relief and, thanks to your amazing generosity, we are already half way to that target!
It would be amazing to reach the target, and even better to break it!

There are 2 ways that you can donate to team Honk.
The first is to text HONK to 70005
This will automatically donate £5 to Team Honk. (Texts cost £5 plus standard message rate)
The other is to go to my.sportrelief.com/sponsor/miltonkeynesteamhonk

We really appreciate anything you can donate to help us reach our target. Every penny counts and really does make a difference.

Of course, if you want to be a bit more hands-on then there are ways that you can do some fundraising of your own.
For example, the first ever Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Games will be taking place from Friday 21st to Sunday 23rd March 2014. You can join the fun and games by running, swimming or cycling your way to raising cash at over a thousand venues around the country, including the landmark events at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.

For more details of how you can get involved visit sportrelief.com

I will also be talking to Gaz on MKFM tomorrow morning, about the relay, before we begin.
If you would like to listen then just click HERE at around 8am.

I am really excited about the relay .... especially meeting the elephants, which is all thanks to Woburn Safari Park.
Fingers crossed the weather stays dry for our animal themed adventure.

Please try to donate if you can, and Thank You for your support.

Love Missy x
