What Is Fun?

Fun is ..... Getting up several times during the night with a miserable, teething Bubba, and then being dragged out of bed at 5:30am by a Little Man who refuses to go back to bed.

Fun is ..... Being so tired that 3 hours after being dragged out of your bed at stupid o'clock you realise you have your knickers on inside-out!

Fun is ..... Not realising that Bubba's nappy has leaked up his back and into his vest, until you are half way through changing him.

Fun is ..... Trying to remove the poo filled clothes from Bubba while he wriggles around the sofa, spreading it as he goes.

Fun is ..... Trying to commandeer a 3 year old to try and find you a towel, as this is the better option than trying to move a baby covered in poo and get one yourself.

Fun is ..... Trying to clean a poo covered Bubba and sofa, while desperately trying not to get the poo on your own hands/face/clothes.

Fun is ..... Having poo on your hands before breakfast.

Fun is ..... Trying to keep a 3 year old and a 1 year old from stepping in the poo covered clothes and nappy that you have put on the floor while you try to clean the baby. (A clean floor seemed less important at this point).

Fun is ..... Managing to clean the baby, the sofa, your hands, the floor, discard the dirty nappy, put the poo filled clothes in the washing machine and then .......

Fun is ..... Realising you are out of washing powder!

So far, today is completely poo (literally) and no fun!

Can I go back to bed now please?
