My Juicing Journey (Continued)

It has been a while since I have written about juicing, mainly because the universe seems to be against me and we have been plagued by illness, and then I had my fall.

Things have been a little hectic here to day the very least.

But, I am on the road to recovery now and am ready to get back on it ..... especially after yesterdays exciting announcement.

There are some very big changes that are going to be happening in my life over the next 12 months if I am to get myself marathon fit, and a big part of that will be diet and nutrition.

I will be looking for juicing recipes that can help me maximise the effects of my training, and for recipes that give me an energy boost as well as helping me continue to lose weight.

I haven't been juicing as much as before due to everything that has been happening at home, but I am set to start my marathon training on Wednesday and am very much looking forward to seeing how juicing can help me on that journey.

Before life got in the way I had already lost a stone in weight thanks to juicing and I also started to notice positive changes in my energy levels.

Juicing has also had a positive impact on Boo.

Although he isn't willing to taste any of the juices yet, he is showing a great interest in what I am doing when I am making the juices and is even asking to help me put the fruits and vegetables in to the juicer!

This is a massive achievement for Boo as, due to his food phobia, he is normally very anxious when it comes to new foods and textures and would never volunteer himself to touch new foods.

It is brilliant to see him showing an interest and I am hoping, with time and encouragement, that he will eventually be able to taste some of the juices that we are making.

I will be sharing my juicing and marathon progress with you along the way, and will also be sharing my favourite recipe from each week on Twitter.
