I am running a marathon.

Tomorrow!!

I can't believe it has come around so quickly.

Today I have been and collected my race number, timer and kit bag and it is all feeling very real now.

The nerves are really kicking in and I don't think that I will manage to get much sleep tonight.

I am excited as well though.

I can't wait to see (and feel) what the atmosphere is like and am confident that I will manage to finish the race.

My 3 older children are coming to watch with my husband, and my parents are coming to cheer me on as well.

Everyone has been extremely supportive and I am so, so grateful.

It is what keeps me going.

As well as amazing support from family and friends I have also had some fab coverage in the local media, including an interview with BBC Look East.

On top of that I am also featured on the Luffit website as an 'inspirational woman'.

I am overwhelmed by it all.

When people tell me I am an inspiration I find it hard to believe.
I just don't see myself that way.

All I want to do is return some support to an amazing charity that helps families just like mine.
Families affected by Genetic Disorders.

I don't care how long it takes me to finish the marathon.
I just want to raise awareness, and lots of money, for Genetic Disorders UK

But, I am suddenly filled with self doubt and am worried I am going to let everyone down.

I'm hope it's just last minute nerves.

If you are coming along to watch the marathon tomorrow then make sure you give me a shout out if you see me coming past.

There aren't enough words to express how much your support means to me.

See you on the other side!
