This year I am honoured to once again be taking part in the Team Honk fundraising for Comic Relief.

Over the past four years Team Honk have raised over £80,000 for Comic Relief which has been used make the lives of those living in unimaginably challenging circumstances much happier.

Team Honk have two very exciting opportunities that you can take part in, and you can find all of the information you need on the Team Honk website.

Comic Relief, Fundraising, Charity,

I am going to be taking part in both events this year so, on 11th March I will be joining lots of Team Honk members, plus their friends and family, to walk 10 miles across London.
Then on 18th March I am holding a fundraising event which my best friend is very kindly allowing me to hold at her pub, The Cornerstone, Shefford.

We have a really fun evening planned including Superhero fancy dress, cocktails, music, dancing, and lots more.

Comic Relief, Fundraising, Charity,

I am really excited about my event and am hoping to raise lots of money for the wonderful Comic Relief

If you would like to attend the event, or would like to donate a prize for our raffle, then please email me - marissa_elana@hotmail.com for more information.

Comic Relief,

You can also sponsor me via my Just Giving Page and help us change thousands of lives.

People often apologise for only being able to donate a small amount, but literally every single penny makes a difference!

Just £5 can provide a mosquito net, which could essentially save a baby's life!

And, on the other end of the scale, £150 is enough to provide a family living and working on a rubbish dump in Sierra Leone with a business start up grant and a year's accommodation to start a new life.
And these aren't just hand-outs! People are given these small grants and the tools to help them start businesses, and then they repay the loans!
This money then goes on to help other people in need, both here in the UK and in Africa.

£1 you spent on a red nose 10 years ago could still be being used to help someone RIGHT NOW!

Pretty incredible stuff hey?!

So what are you waiting for?
Let's make a difference!

Missy x
